Hello Friends!
The American Dietetic Association says breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Despite the healthful benefits, breakfast may be the meal that is most often neglected or skipped. Eating breakfast not only aids in weight management, it fuels the body to help provide energy, better concentration and problem-solving ability throughout the day, according to the food and nutrition experts at the American Dietetic Association.
This morning before preparing my regular healthy breakfast - a bowl of oatmeal, I was turning the pages of Deuteronomy and read this wonderful words:
"... Then he fed you with manna, something neither you nor your parents knew anything about, so you would learn that men and women don't live by bread only; we live by every word that comes from God's mouth."– Deut. 8:3, The Message Bible
WOW!! What an energy booster that is! God said that we live by every word that comes from God's mouth. There's something extraordinary and energizing about the WORD OF GOD, something powerful that would make you ALIVE throughout the day. Alive in your walk to the office, in all your meetings, or in your classes, wherever you need to go today. Alive and full of energy in facing whatever situation or challenges this day may bring!
Now, just as important as having our breakfast everyday, we need to have our spiritual breakfast. We can't go without it. So, have you go to the JC' Coffee Shop this morning? I did.
